A Year Of Reading | 2017 Book Wrap-Up

2017 is so far my best year of reading (based on my Goodreads record) because I read 60 books this year than last year. I only read 26 books last year, which was disappointing because I know I could read more than that. Earlier this year, I only set 40 books for my Goodreads reading challenge but when I reached 40 on May, I re-set my goal to 60 books. It's better than last year, I'm thankful for that. However, I can't help but think that I could've done better when SPM ended but as soon as SPM ended, I end up in a critical reading slump. The I-can't-even-read-one-single-chapter reading slump. It sucks.

Currently reading: The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas (but I'm so freaking slow reading this book)

This year, I mostly read contemporary young adult (YA) books. There were some that pretty life changing to me but most of them are just average and maybe a couple of them weren't for me. I did read books from other genres and thankfully all of them were good but I'm planning to read more books out from YA contemporary. And I think almost all of the books I read this year were released before 2017. I haven't read a lot of books released in 2017 *sobs* but I'll do soon. I also finished 4 great book series and I absolutely love them all. So here are some books that I totally love in 2017.

Tell Me Three Things - Julie Buxbaum

Summary: Jessie is new in Los Angeles. It's been barely two years after her mother's death and when her father eloped with a woman he met online, Jessie has been forced to move across the country with her stepfamily. One day, she received an email from someone who calls himself Somebody/Nobody (SN for short) and in a leap of faith, SN becomes Jessie's closest ally. In this book, we see Jessie adapting her new life with new people in her life and in the meantime trying to get to know who SN is.

My 2 cents for this series: I totally started this series very late but better late than never, right? I finished reading this series a few months ago and until this day, my heart still aches when I think about the characters in this book. Throughout this series, I felt like I was with them during the good and hard times, the hunt for Glendower and I still miss the characters a lot.

To All The Boys I've Loved Before - Jenny Han

Summary: Lara Jean's love life turns into a wreak havoc when her little sister sends a bunch of the letters that she wrote off to her crush and former crushes. We see as she grows up, falls in love and making the right decision about her future and the person she loves.

Series overall rating: 4.8/5

Other books that worth mentioned but don't fit in any category here: The Hearts We Sold by Emily Lloyd-Jones (4.6/5), Emma In The Night by Wendy Walker (4.5/5)

As you can see, my reading journey this year is better than the last few years and I'm so grateful to be given the opportunity to read tons of book. I'm aiming to be a little better next year and lets hope I'll succeed on doing so. I hope you do too.

The Post-SPM phase | I graduated?

Jelitawan OSIZAL (JELO) 2017 graduation photo❤
When SPM ended, it meant that I'm officially a secondary school graduate, right? Does that mean I already graduated, or I will only graduate when the SPM result is known? Whatever, whatever, no matter what, I hereby declare that I'm no longer a secondary school student. I am a free, unemployed happy girl (not that I wasn't happy before).

Um, hello people! It's been a long time. I kind of forget how it felt to blog, and my brain is still slow in producing ideas when I write, so please bear with this post.

When I meet people I know these days, the first question they ask me will be how was SPM?

My answer is: SPM was great. The key is always revising. If you did revision in all topics or at least pay attention in classes, then no matter how hard the question is, you will somehow get an idea on how to answer the questions. Even the Bahasa Sanskrit question in Sejarah too, which was an unexpected question (note to future SPM candidates: DO. NOT. TRUST. RAMALAN. QUESTIONS). SPM also taught us to always prepare for the unexpected because there are some questions that we're not prepared for such as Biology Paper 3, which required us to make our own experiments. SPM was great, I did the best I could, and although my confidence is really on the lowest point right now, I hope it will turn out great.

The graduation day was a week before SPM and I bet you that we already predicted what SPM would do to us but we were blind to the signs.
It has been 4 days since the last day I met my friends, and I already miss them. My brain is slow in translating my feelings; during the last day I was with them, I didn't even cry. However, when I saw them posting pictures on Instagram, I teared up a bit. Maybe a lot. I didn't sob but I did cry. When I once said that there's nothing I'll miss about school, I totally lied. What will I miss the most about school?

5 Muslim of course 💕 I miss the class already. I miss our class teacher, Miss Suseyltah. And I miss these weirdos too (look at how they pose, look me in the eye and say they're not weird at all. their poses showed who they truly are). I'm thankful for all the times we had, good and bad. I'll miss breaking 'the stair rules' with the other girls.
PRS family 💖 I have been one of this family for almost 5 years and I succeeded in going through ups and downs with this family. For that, I'm thankful. PRS will always have a special place in my heart and I'll always be one of them, no matter where I am.
I was not in this picture. Only the Economy stream students were in this picture, and I can't find any other decent OSIZAL picture in my storage, so I chose this picture. I'll miss my batchmates, OSIZAL too. For all the good and bad things we've gone through since we were form 1, I am proud of where we are now. Congratulations, OSIZAL, for everything. I'll always love you guys (especially JELO. our picture is up there).
My crush is a great human being Nope. Not going there. Never.

Enough with the appreciation speeches. So, moving on to the answer of the next obvious question: What will you do after SPM? Will you work, or what?

1. I will learn to drive and have my license. Truth is, by the time this post is uploaded, I'm at the driving academy already. My Ma is very fast, you know. She figured that next year, she might need a driver for my brothers to go to school. I'm quite nervous right now when I'm writing this because I don't know what to expect for tomorrow. I hope it'll go well.

Ma said my face looks excited. I'm not, I'm nervous.
2. I will find work. My teacher offered me a work as penjaga koperasi next year and I'm not sure if I want to be one, because I don't want to meet people at school, and be at the school 😅 I'm going to find another job, but if I can't find one, penjaga koperasi it is.

3. Read a lot of books. Self explanatory.

So, that's how my post-SPM phase is currently going. Since SPM already ended for me, and will officially end soon, I hope that all SPM candidates stop stressing about the result too much. Enjoy the holiday, and do some things that will help you in the future. Do something beneficial during the holiday, but please have a lot of rest too. Keep praying for the best, never stop praying and put your trust in fate (so easy to say but it's so hard to do).

No one knows what changes, big or small, lie ahead. One thing is certain, our journey's not over.
- Plio (Dinosaur, 2000)

P.S. What are/were the things that you'll do/you had done during the post-SPM phase? Mind sharing?

Solitude | a poem to describe my day

Laugh, and the world laughs with you;
Weep, and you weep alone;
For the sad old earth must borrow its mirth,
But has trouble enough of its own.
Sing, and the hills will answer;
Sigh, it is lost on the air;
The echoes bound to a joyful sound,
But shrink from voicing care.

Rejoice, and men will seek you;
Grieve, and they turn and go;
They want full measure of all your pleasure,
But they do not need your woe.
Be glad, and your friends are many;
Be sad, and you lose them all,
There are none to decline your nectared wine,
But alone you must drink life's gall.

Feast, and your halls are crowded;
Fast, and the world goes by.
Succeed and give, and it helps you live,
But no man can help you die.
There is room in the halls of pleasure
For a large and lordly train,
But one by one we must all file on
Through the narrow aisles of pain.

- Ella Wheeler Wilcox

P.S. I hate myself these past weeks. I'm being oversensitive over simple things, it's so irrational and so not me. It's meanie and quite b*tchy. And no matter how much I feel guilty about me being a meanie, I keep doing it over and over again. Oh, and I eat too much too. Maybe it's stress. Maybe it's SPM. But it's very irrational.

The love that you deserve | a short post

"You deserve someone who loves you with every single beat of his heart, someone who thinks about you constantly, someone who spends every minute of every day just wondering what you're doing, where you are, who you're with and if you're OK. You need someone who can help you reach your dreams and who can protect you from your fears. You need someone who will treat you with respect, love every part of you, especially your flaws. You should be with someone who can make you happy, really happy, dancing-on-air happy. Someone who should have taken the chance to be with you years ago instead of becoming scared and being too afraid to try."

I want to talk about this quote, but I find nothing to be talked about. So just read, and let the words speak to you.

Lots of love for this book and the movie adaptation. I don't think I'll ever be bored of the movie, this is my comfort book/movie and one of the books/movies that can make me cry and cry again no matter how much I've read/watch them. It's amazing, wonderful and hold a special place in my heart.

P.S. I posted a book review for 'Love, Rosie' a while ago. In case if you want to know more about it, you may check them out 😊

Lots of love,

The Blue Sky Tag

Hello guys :) How was your week? Is it great? I hope it's going well and you're in a happy state. As for me, it has been a hectic week, what with the forum competition, my upcoming exam, and the upcoming camping festival (yes, a camping festival. what school organize a camping festival?). I've been busy, I feel like I can't breathe at all. This is life.

So, in April, I was tagged by Afifah Addnan. Then, not so long after that, I was tagged by Tqa London. Thank you to both of you for tagging me, I really love doing tags and I'm sure that I'll enjoy answering these questions😄

The Rules:

1. Thank the person who tagged you.
2. Answer their 11 questions.
3. Tag 11 people (I'm 80% sure that the people that I tag wouldn't reach 11)
4. Give them 11 questions to answer (And this. I love answering, but I'm never a good questioner)

The Questions (Afifah Addnan's):

1. What was the last movie you watched?

I re-watched one of the Harry Potter movies, I'm not really sure which one. My little brothers are binge watching them and I join them a lot of times (and spoil a lot of parts to them). I should not ruin the magical world of Harry Potter for my brothers but I can't help myself.

2. What are you trying to achieve with your blog?

I just want to write a lot of posts that can people can relate to and help them. More towards writing posts with good quality. I can't set my goals too high right now, since I have commitments to much bigger things (SPM, school, and things).

3. Do you think that you are someone with sense of humor?

I hope so, but I'm not. A lot of things that are funny to me are not funny to other people and I find a lot of things that people find funny not as funny. Only my brothers and best friends get my sense of humor. I always need to explain people the meaning behind my jokes so that's that. Maybe you can tell me how to be funnier? I'm serious, help me.

4. Imagine 10 years ago. How does that make you feel about yourself now?

I was 6, and for some reasons, that was the age of my first year of primary school. I was bullied back then, and it was horrible because I trusted the person who bullied me. I swear, the bully still somehow affects me to these day, but I'm much better. I know how to walk away from the toxic people and I'm much braver in expressing my feelings and myself. I'm proud of myself. My 6 years old self would be inspired by me haha.

5. How would your friend describe you?

Yup, I took a quiz for this. I don't know if it's true, though. I wanted to ask my friends about this, but they are at hostel and I'm home and they don't have phones with them, hence the quiz.

6. Do you have hobbies that others might find unusual?

I love doing DIY and journaling and a lot of friends find that unusual. I'm not really good with art, DIY is the least I can do.

7. Have you done anything illegal?

Although it's nothing big, I think that downloading things illegally is awfully wrong. If I place myself in the shoes of people whose works are illegally used by community, I would be really disappointed too. However, I still download things illegally. I don't think I'll ever stop. At least not until I become a millionaire who is able to buy anything I want so easily.

8. If you ended up being a prisoner, what likely to be the reason?

For talking about the things that I should never talk about. The topics that my friends and I sometimes discuss are the sensitive things that might get me imprisoned. Or maybe because I join the rebellions.

9. What most likely the thing that will get you angry?

When the only thing I want is to be heard, but instead, the person I'm talking to isn't paying attention or listening to me. I feel invisible. Most of the time, I try to reason that other person's act, but when that person does it too many times to me, I won't bother to listen to him/her for days.

10. How do you handle yourself when you are angry?

I cry and listen to every emo songs I have in my playlist. And then, I'll sleep. Or if I'm angry when I'm in public, I'll just take out my notebook and write everything down. It keeps me from expressing my anger to the wrong person.

11. Best thing to eat when you are angry?

Cakes. Preferably chocolate-cheese flavored cake. It's so yummy. Oh now I'm hungry😶

The Questions (Tqa London's):

1. What was your first thought about my blog?

The first three things I look at when I visit a blog is the header, the 'about me' section and I observe the color combination. My first thought was, I love how this blog looks like! I'm not lying. I did love how your blog looks like. I love the header, although it's simple but it's in black and pink color combination, which I adore.

2. What hobby would you get into if time and money weren't an issue?

I would travel (no surprise there) everytime I'm in a holiday. I'm a student now, an SPM candidate and I literally have no time. I'm also penniless, if it weren't for my parents supporting me until this day. However, I watched a lot of movies and dramas and shows, and I read tons of books and the places where they set really made me curious and my heart screams to go outside of this town.

3. What fictional place would you most like to go?

My Hogwarts letter is coming too late, maybe I should go there myself to ask Dumbledore about it.

4. What songs have you completely memorized?

I'm music trash. I was exposed to music since I was a little kid, and I love it so much since. I memorized a lot of Indonesian songs, from the oldies to the 2014 Indonesian songs (I stop listening to Indonesian songs since then because they all sound the same to me). My all-time-favorites are Hati Yang Luka, Dealova, Cinta Ini Membunuhku, Gelas-gelas Kaca, Ya Sudahlah, Ada Apa Denganmu and more (I can probably talk about this forever). My current favorite songs that I already memorized are City Of Stars and Attention. Oh but the song that excited me the most when I memorized it was Bole Chudiyan (Kabhie Kushi Kabhie Gham OST).

5. What game or movie universe would you most like to live in?

I was going to say the wizarding world, but since I mentioned that in question no. 3, I decided to choose Wonderland. The world is so weird and magical, and I totally love the universe of the movie.

6. What TV channel doesn't exist but really should?

A specific channel for advertisements. My brother and I talk about this a lot of times, and we agree that Malaysia needs a specific channel, only for advertisements. Although it might seem boring, and nobody would watch it, it's so convenient, because then, we wouldn't need to waste our time having to watch the advertisements in between watching a TV show. TV3 totally took 30 minutes just for the same advertisements guys, it's really inconvenient.

7. What is something that is considered a luxury, but you don't think you could live without?

Spotify Premium. It's just RM14 something a month, but I'm a student, and I have a lot more things I can buy with the monthly fee. It's considered as a luxury too, right? However, I don't think I can live without it, although I'm now living without it. I subscribed for it 3 months or so, and fell in love with the app. How could I not, when I can listen to high quality music, offline, and various choice of music, and some podcasts that I absolutely love?

8. What's worth spending more on to get the best?

For me, it's skincare. Since my skin is acne prone due to my weird teenage hormones, I spend a lot of money for skincare. I hate hating my own skin! I want to be comfortable in my own skin, so whenever I get some money, I must use some of them to buy skincare, be it facial cleanser or moisturizer or toner with the same or different brand I used the month before. Skincare is the fourth thing I spend money most on after books, prepaid reloads and foods. Ugh the struggle.

9. What is something that a ton of people are obsessed with but you just don't get a point of?

Musically. And Vine. I live in the generation that love these kind of things, and I join my friends watching Musically and Vine videos for so many times but I still don't get the point of it. Doing Youtube, and vlogging everyday, yes, I do get the point of that. But Vine, and Musically? I never get the point of loving these things and I'll never try to. I don't hate it, I just don't get the point of it.

10. Tell me about someone you envy.

I'm not really the type of person to envy someone else. Of course I envy someone with a perfect life, perfect people surrounding him/her, perfect job/school and et cetera. But that's normal, right? I just hope I wouldn't have to envy anyone, I know how dangerous envy can be.

11. What is the weirdest thing you have seen in someone else's home?

I'm pretty sure I once went into someone else's house and saw something that wasn't really a sofa, but not quite a bed and look a lot like surgical table. I don't know what it was, and I couldn't remember how it looked like because I saw it when I was around 4 or 5. The only thing I remember is the thing might be a sofa, a bed, both, or maybe a surgical table.

I post this a bit later than I thought I would, but still, I posted it! It's a big success for me. Another 5 posts to be finished before I leave this blog for a while, for good. I need to focus, and this blog is too distracting. I enjoy doing this tag, thank you again for tagging me😄

Why Converse Sneakers Are My Favorite

Coco Chanel once said "A woman with good shoes is never ugly." When I think about a good pair of shoes, I'll always think of something comfy and in the same time, not too old-fashioned. I must be comfortable in that shoes because I walk a lot, I swear. I often find myself using stairs when there are elevators and escalators available, I don't know why. I just love walking. I'm also a fast walker. Time is gold, they said, but that's not exactly why I walk so fast. I just walk fast. It's kinda like a habit, but the habit often brings advantage to me.

The only shoes that fits my criteria are sneakers. As much as I want to say I love high heels more, I honestly love my converse more. I'll use high heels on occasion that requires dressing up but in my daily life? I'd rather wear sneakers. I've been using converse sneakers since primary school and I have a lot of memories with my converse; both good and bad memories. I use my converse during school trips, I wore them a lot to my favorite place in town, I once almost got hit by a car while I was wearing converse and a lot more. *I wonder why I suddenly get nostalgic with this converse post*

I'm a huge fan of Converse sneakers, and here are some reasons why:

They are super comfortable.

As I mentioned above, I love walking and I'm a fast walker (even when I don't intend to be fast). I can walk around the places I want to without needing to have a break too many times. I can shop all I want in the shopping mall without feeling too tired because my shoes are soft and comfortable inside. It is so convenient!

Converse sneakers are unisex style shoes.

Fun fact: I'm the only girl among my siblings. Another fun fact: It's not fun. One of the pros of being the only daughter is I don't need to share my things with anyone. I can have my clothes and things all to myself. The con? If I need something, for example clothes, bags, accessories or whatever, I can't borrow my brothers' stuffs. Their stuffs are all too boyish and their stuffs wouldn't fit me well. However, as converse sneakers are unisex style shoes, I can always borrow my brothers' sneakers. They might be a little too big, but I can always tighten the shoes. No one can avoid me from wearing converse.

They are not too pricey.

Compared to other sneakers brand, for me, the most affordable is converse. There are people who own up to 10 converse sneakers, that's how affordable the sneakers are. The shoes are comfy, unisex, stylish and not too pricey. What's not to love about the sneakers?

I can design my own converse sneakers.

Who wouldn't love to have a self-designed sneakers? Not me. I would really love it. You can also design a shoes as a gift to someone, whether it's your friends, siblings or lovers based on what they like. Just go to their website, design, and you are done.

Converse go with any outfit.

I don't really have to burden my mind with the "which pair of shoes will fit my outfit" everytime I have occasion I need to attend when I have my converse with me. Whether I am going for a cute, modest, or sporty look, my converse will always match my look.

Additional fact about converse: They are not all about sneakers.  They also have many accessories to choose from. For the guys and girls who love the casual laid back style, chill out in Converse hats and bags. You can choose a backpack or sling bag depending on your mood. The sling bag is also great to bring on the plane where you can store important documents that you need to reach for without going through a big bag. Converse is a legendary brand.

If you don't have a pair of converse sneakers, what are you waiting for? Go grab a pair, since converse is totally convenient and stylish!

The Raven Boys | Book Review

The Raven Boys (The Raven Cycle #1)

Author: Maggie Stiefvater
Genre: Fantasy, Young Adult, Romance, Paranormal
Pages: 416
Goodreads rating: 4.05/5
My rating: 5/5

Hello guys!

It has been a long time since I post anything here, and I missed the blog so much. I should be on hiatus, considering my March test result wasn't so good, but I passed nonetheless, Alhamdulillah. But I want to post something so that my blog wouldn't be full of webs and that sort of things.

So, last term break, I read a lot of books, and one of the books is The Raven Boys. Before I start writing about what I think about the book, you may read the synopsis first.

“There are only two reasons a non-seer would see a spirit on St. Mark’s Eve,” Neeve said. “Either you’re his true love . . . or you killed him.”

It is freezing in the churchyard, even before the dead arrive.

Every year, Blue S
argent stands next to her clairvoyant mother as the soon-to-be dead walk past. Blue herself never sees them—not until this year, when a boy emerges from the dark and speaks directly to her.

His name is Gansey, and Blue soon discovers that he is a rich student at Aglionby, the local private school. Blue has a policy of staying away from Aglionby boys. Known as Raven Boys, they can only mean trouble.

But Blue is drawn to Gansey, in a way she can’t entirely explain. He has it all—family money, good looks, devoted friends—but he’s looking for much more than that. He is on a quest that has encompassed three other Raven Boys: Adam, the scholarship student who resents all the privilege around him; Ronan, the fierce soul who ranges from anger to despair; and Noah, the taciturn watcher of the four, who notices many things but says very little.

For as long as she can remember, Blue has been warned that she will cause her true love to die. She never thought this would be a problem. But now, as her life becomes caught up in the strange and sinister world of the Raven Boys, she’s not so sure anymore.

From Maggie Stiefvater, the bestselling and acclaimed author of the Shiver trilogy and The Scorpio Races, comes a spellbinding new series where the inevitability of death and the nature of love lead us to a place we’ve never been before. (source: Goodreads)

I heard about this book tons of times. The book reviews of this book are everywhere; on Youtube, Goodreads and some blogs and websites. My favorite Youtubers mentioned this book and it was in a lot of book recommendations I watched/read. The book was on my e-reader bookshelf for so long, and one certain day, I finally found my way to this book. And I wondered... why didn't I read this book earlier?

"If Blue was to kiss her true love, he would die. For a long time, this bothered Blue. The warning was specific, certainly, but in the way of a fairy tale. It didn't say how her true love would die. It didn't say how long after the kiss he would survive. Did it have to be a kiss on the lips? Would a chaste peck on the back of his palm prove as deadly?" {Excerpt of Chapter 1, The Raven Boys}

The whole theme intrigued me. The excerpt I put above wasn't in the first page of the book, but I was hooked from the very first page. The very first sentence. As much as I shouldn't, I love paranormal things; it fascinates me, and Blue's family traded in predictions and I loved the theme so so so much. I didn't read a lot of fantasies in the past, but I'm sure this book is a good one.

I adored Blue's family. It's the way I adored the Song/Covey family in To All The Boys I Loved Before trilogy, the family in Strange And Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender and almost like how I loved the Weasleys. The women Blue lives with are so amazing I wished I could jump into the book and be apart of the family. Not just they had fantastic ability that I really loved, they also had the attitude that I admire!

The plot is interesting and it was a bit slow paced because it was a character-driven book, but that's okay for me. The theme had me hooked and I was fascinated by the paranormal thingy.

Now lets talk about the Raven Boys.

Richard Gansey III: Gansey oh Gansey. A lot of people who read this book didn't really like Gansey because of his obliviousness of how he hurt people by using his privilege. But I loved him. He was so ambitious and he cared a lot about people around him although sometimes the way he helped people around him hurts them. He'd do anything for them, I swear. And it's so adorable.

Adam Parrish: Do I need to mention again how much I love the name 'Adam'? I get really excited whenever I see the name 'Adam' whether it's in a book, movie, anywhere. And Adam Parrish is so lovable. He was the only Aglionby boy that was not filthy rich and he was so independent. I cared for him a lot. He's like my little child (except that I don't have a child) that I want to protect forever.

Noah: My heart broke for Noah. Although his character didn't really stand out like the others, but I loved him as much as I did the others. I wanted to give him a hug for what he had been through. A lot of hugs.

RONAN LYNCH: The only reason I write Ronan's name in capital letters is because I really really admire, adore, like, love him. He was so complex, mysterious, interesting and I need more Ronan in the next book please. He was the kind of boy that looks scary outside but has a very gentle side of him that is hidden. I mean, he took care of a little raven, isn't that cute? I can't not give the book 5 stars when Ronan is in this.

To conclude, I love the characters, the whole theme of this book and again, I love the characters. The characters are the main reason I'll be continuing this series. And lets hope for more Ronan. And Blue sorting out her love interest issue.

"She wasn't interested in telling other people's futures. She was interested in going out and finding her own."

I hope you enjoy the review, and do comment below if you already read the book! Au revoir, assalamualaikum😄

5 Reasons I Love Ezbuy

As a student that's busy with my study, co-curricular activities and a lot of other things, I sometimes have no time to go out, not even for buying the things I need. It's so hard to find time since my school scheduled a lot of things for the students, we barely find time to relax. The only person I can depend on to buy my necessities is my mother, and even her is so busy with the teaching and a lot of other stuffs that only adults know about.

A few years back, we discovered a thing called online shopping. And we fell in love with online shopping instantly; it was a love at the first sight. We live at a place where the only sophisticated place to shop is Watson. And yeah, Milimewa (perhaps). So online shopping is perfect for us!

These days, we'll find a lot of medium to shop online. However, we'll rarely find an online shop that fits almost all of good criteria of an online shop. Nothing is perfect, but today I'll introduce to ezbuy, the online shopping website that I love.

And I'll make you fall in love with ezbuy as well.

To all of you who aren't familiar to what ezbuy is, well, ezbuy is a dedicated provider of professional online services, which has evolved to now include their own global shopping platform. Ezbuy provides shopping service from China, Taiwan, USA for Singaporeans, Malaysians, Australians and Thai people.

The reasons I love ezbuy:

Reason 1: It is way easier, cheaper and faster.

A lot of stuffs that you want to buy, but the stuffs and you are separated by Laut China Selatan? No worries. With ezbuy, you can buy all the trendy goods overseas without to take a plane or do anything! It can be on your phone, laptop, as long as it is online. Shopping at ezbuy is so EZ🙆

Reason 2: Lower cost of shipping fee

Have you ever experienced the situation where you're shopping online excitedly, maybe because there is a discount for almost everything on that website, and when you see the shipping cost, you need to cancel some things you already put in cart because it's out of your budget? Because I had. Not always, but I've been there, and it was a huge disappointment for me. With ezbuy, the shipping cost would be cheaper because ezbuy inspects the product you buy to ensure its quality and repack the parcel by removing excess packaging to make it less bulky, hence lowering the cost of local postage fees borne by us.

Reason 3: 3 main languages

A lot of times, I go to an international online shopping website that has some goods I long for, but during the buying process, I barely understand anything because they majorly use other language instead of English. It was inconvenient and waste a lot of time. However, there are 3 languages available on ezbuy which are English, Chinese and even Malay! This is very beneficial to everyone whose mother tongue isn't chinese!

Reason 4: Prime account

Prime is a membership programme which guarantees your shopping fee to be fixed at a flat rate of RM8.80 no matter how big or how much it weighs and the quantity of items bought per checkout. So convenient! You can get a trial for prime account for 5 days at only RM18.80. For a 1 year membership, it is priced affordably with only RM188!

Reason 5: Tons of Korean goods available!

Remind me again why I can't move on from this drama?
Don't get me start with how much I love Koreans. Korean goods are all high quality, especially their skincare products! Just look how their face is glowing, I'm so jealous. But on ezbuy, the Korean goods that are available are not just skincare products, but also foods, cosmetics and a lot other things! Now all of you who love Korean stuffs like me, go to their website and register!

Not to mention, when you register, you will get free RM15 voucher! Isn't that amazing? And after you register, whenever you invite your friend to register, you will get RM15!

Now, tell me you're not interested at all with ezbuy. I bet you wouldn't.

Hi! Hello! Bonjour! I am currently listening to Desi Ratnasari's Tenda Biru right now. I used to listen to that song a lot during my childhood because my Ma loves that song. And apparently that song was played a lot of times in a lot of weddings I went to. Now listening to the song and understanding the meaning, I wondered... why did they play this song at a wedding?

Tenda Biru is a depressing song especially for weddings. And Tenda Biru wasn't the only depressing songs played at most weddings I went, there were a tons more. Hence, to avoid a disastrous choice of songs to be played at a wedding, let me list some songs that are in my mind.

I got the idea for this post from my English teacher's post that I read long time ago when I stalked her (that happens when you have a very beautiful and attractive woman as an English teacher and I wasn't the only one who stalked her)

The 'DON'T SING THIS SONG AT ANY WEDDING' Playlist (Unless it's your ex's wedding and you want to ruin it)

  • Tenda Biru by Desi Ratnasari: "Tanpa undangan kau diriku kau lupakan... Tanpa putusan diriku kau tinggalkan... Tanpa bicara kau buat ku kecewa... Tanpa berdosa kau buat ku merana... Ku tak percaya dirimu tega, nodai cinta, khianati cinta." Yup. Depressing as heck.

  • Breakeven by The Script: "Her best days were some of my worst. She finally met a man that's gonna put her first. While I'm wide awake she's no trouble sleeping. Cause when a heart breaks no it don't break even..."

  • When I Was Your Man by Bruno Mars. It might be tempting to show off your ability to belt a strong note in front of everybody else, but not this song. And this song is too depressing to be played at a wedding.

  • Ku Tunggu Jandamu by Irwansyah. Seriously? Ku Tunggu Jandamu? It's a fun song, but the groom might not find it fun. At all.

  • Putuskan Saja Pacarmu (P.U.S.P.A.) by ST12

  • Ku Menunggu by Rossa. The melody might sounds suitable for the wedding, but the lyrics and the meaning behind the lyrics? Totally unsuitable. "Ku menunggu, ku menunggu kau putus dengan kekasihmu. Tak akan ku ganggu kau dengan kekasihmu. Ku kan selalu di sini untuk menunggumu." You don't want to send a message like this to any of the newlyweds. They are supposed to be happy with their wedding, and not worrying over someone that is praying for them to split.

That's all from me today. This post was fun to write, I hope you'll enjoy the post as well 😊 Do you have any song in your mind that fits this playlist? Comment down below to let me know!

Quick March Outro X April Goals

Assalamualaikum, hi!

I've been wanting to write this kind of post for so long, but I didn't have the time. Actually, I still don't have time to do anything on the Internet other than searching information for pantun or my SPM speaking test. But sometimes, writing is too tempting and I can't hold myself back, so here I am writing my post.

It was a frantic month. With the exams, and the one week holiday I spent with house chores and worrying over my sick Granddad, the pantun competition in the beginning of the month, everything was just so, very hectic.

  • Ron Weasley's birthday (March 1st) - Ron turned 37 this year yeay 🙆
  • Pantun competition (March 9th) - which we won *yeay* but I put the team on a risk of losing when I used the wrong words in my pantun
  • Exams with weird schedules - my exam result was shocking, because it went down drastically. I blame myself for my lack of revision and the school for weird schedule of exam. Imagine! 5 subjects a day for exam? That was insane.
  • First-term break - which I spent with house chores and worrying over my sick Granddad. Since I was the only girl left in the house because my Ma was at the hospital taking care of Granddad and my brothers were being my brothers, I was obliged to do all the house chores instead of relaxing (like how I planned my week before the holiday).
  • SEGAK test - SEGAK test is a physical fitness test that all of the students need to take and we need to do sit-ups, push-ups, naik turun bangku and jangkauan melunjur. And now my body hurts everywhere.
  • Koo Jun-Hoe's birthday (March 31st) - June turned 20 today💞

  • Book: The Raven Boys - I will do a review for this book later.
  • Book: Isla and The Happily Ever After - I finally finish the trilogy! You can read my short review of this book here. It was a very short review.
  • Book: To Kill A Mockingbird - It was a really good book. I adore Atticus, his belief and what he fought for. I love Jean-Louise (Scout) and Jem and everything in the book.
  • Music: Death Of A Bachelor (Album) by Panic! At The Disco
  • Music: ÷ (Album) by Ed Sheeran
  • Booktuber: A Clockwork Reader
  • Youtuber: Conan Gray

"Excellent time management is a source of energy, enthusiasm and a positive mental attitude."

Cikgu Windralela, our Biology teacher put this on our Biology papers. It was her way to tell us to do better in our time management to have a better result in everything.

  • Stop procrastinating. This is actually one of my 2017 goals and I'm still struggling to do this, since I'm always too busy and when I want to do things that I need to, I am already tired. So. Stop procrastinating.
  • Read more books. March was a hard month, and from the school's takwim, I heard that April is going to be busier. Save me please! I want to read more. There are tons of books in my TBR-list and it's so painful to see the books untouched.
  • Reduce my caffeine intake. I think I'm addicted to caffeine and I hate when I'm addicted to something. I hate being dependent to something or someone. I hate it when I get migraine whenever I don't drink a cup of coffee.
  • Be more organized. I found a hairbrush in my school file last month. Yup, that's how unorganized I was. I'm going to change that.
  • Drink more water.

So that was my March wrap up and April goals. I can only give my best effort, pray and hope that everything will get much better in the next month. How was your month? I hope it is much better than mine.

Hello, assalamualaikum people! Mid-sem break is finally here🙆 I'm so happy because I can be away from school for a while although the homeworks are piling up. And the March test had just ended, thanks God! School was fine, but school is school.

I was thinking about what post I want to post, since the opportunity to write post doesn't come so often. Then, I watched a Youtube video regarding Harry Potter and the idea came. I should write something about Harry Potter! But there's so much to talk about, so I start with the simplest I can come up with, which by doing a tag! I found this tag on Fandoms On The Run but I'll customize the tag from 30 questions to only 22 questions.

1. Favorite book?

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, of course! That's where Harry met his godfather, Sirius Black.

2. Least favorite book?

I'm not sure, I'm pretty sure I love all the books in the series, but if I have to choose, probably Harry Potter and The Order of Phoenix. Umbridge, urgh. Urgh.

3. Favorite movie?

Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban, because almost all of favorite characters are there, and there was no death. Deaths in Harry Potter series were insufferable.

4. Least favorite movie?

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part I. It was so slow and depressing and I cried all way through the movie. I love the movie but I hate it.

5. Favorite quote?

  • "The ones that love us never really leave us."
  • "Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if one only remembers to turn on the light."
  • "We've all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That's who we really are."

6. Favorite Weasley?

No way I'm choosing my favorite Weasley. I'm one of the Weasleys! Oh I love the Weasleys so much I wish I could be in their family. It was a big family and peaceful family and I love I love the family.

Missing: Percy, Bill, Charlie, Arthur and Molly. And me.

7. Favorite female character?

I'm battling to choose Hermione or Luna. I can relate to both of them, and I love both of them in the same amount. I can relate to Hermione a lot and I can also relate to Luna's unique view of life.

8. Favorite villain?

I will choose my favorite villain based on which villain I hate the most which is... Bellatrix Lestrange or Dolores Umbridge. Bellatrix was fun to read but I hate hate hate her because she killed Sirius, Sirius, one of my favorite characters. And she tortured Neville's parents and also Hermione. Whilst for Umbridge, I just genuinely hate her. She was fake and pretentious and she used the Cruciatus curse on Harry and she treated other people crappy-ly.

9. Favorite male character?

Rubeus Hagrid or Fred/George Weasley. These two/three characters are so important throughout the series, I can't imagine Hogwarts without them!

10. Favorite professor?

Remus Lupin! But since he wasn't a professor for so long, then my favorite is Minerva McGonagall. She was a really great and cool teacher.

11. Would you rather A) wash Snape’s hair or B) spend a day listening to Lockhart rant about himself?

Wash Snape's hair, using magic. I'd rather spend my time with Snape than Lockhart.

12. Would you rather duel A) elated Bellatrix or B) an angry Molly?

Every wizard and witch should know not to mess with Molly when she's pissed but even elated Bellatrix is really cruel. Bellatrix loves torturing people (with Cruciatus curse specifically) and Molly usually get mad out of her love. So I'd rather duel with Molly because I know I wouldn't do anything that would make Molly kill me.

13. Your top thing (person or event) that wasn’t in the movie that you wanted there the most?

There are a lot of characters from the book that I would love to see in the movie such as Peeves and The Bloody Baron. And I wish that there is more about Hermione's passion of social justice shown in the movies.

14. Which house was your first gut feeling you’d be a part of?

I was more confident of my knowledge than my courage before, so I thought I would be sorted to Ravenclaw although I internally wish that I would be sorted into Gryffindor.

15. Which house were you actually sorted into on Pottermore?

My dream come true when I got sorted into Gryffindor! Imagine how happy I was, when I got sorted into the house where almost all of my favorite characters also got sorted to.

16. Which class would be your favourite?

Defense Against the Dark Arts, if Lupin is my professor. Transfiguration and Charms sound good to me too. I have a feeling that I'll love Potions if Snape isn't my teacher because I love Chemistry.

17. Which spell do you think would be most useful to learn?

  • Accio : Less energy would be used, so very super convenient.
  • Obliviate : For when I do something stupid or embarrassing, I can cast this spell and make people/me forget.
  • Lumos : Very convenient when I want to sleep! Everytime I want to sleep, the darkness is needed for me to sleep well but when I'm too sleepy, I get too lazy to turn off the light, which often leaves me not having my beauty sleep really well.

18. Which character do you think you’d instantly become friends with?

Probably Luna, Hermione, Ginny, Neville or Ron. Luna, because we share the weirdness. Hermione, because we share the same love towards reading. Ginny, because she is the only daughter among the Weasley siblings and it's relatable. Neville, because he's Neville and I love Neville. Ron, because we both love foods (but I think he loves foods more than I do).

19. If you could own one of the three Hallows, which would it be?

It's kinda obvious that almost everyone who watched/read the Harry Potter series will be choosing The Invisibility Cloak because it has a lot of uses! It's very convenient!

20. Favourite Marauder?

All of them. Moony. Padfoot. Prongs. Minus Wormtail. I'm very sad that Pettigrew betrayed the others, because they were like brothers, but he betrayed them.

21. If you could bring one character back to life, which would it be?

Fred. No doubt, I will choose Fred. Ask me this question hundred times and I'll choose Fred. I sobbed so hard when he died, even before I get into the part where he died, I already sobbed so hard. And when he died, I sobbed harder. When George lost one of his ears, I kinda felt like something more worse would happen to Fred. I was sad for the Weasleys, I was sad for George, because Fred and George were one, you know.

P/S: According to Pottermore, George couldn't produce his full patronus after Fred's death, how sad is that?

22. Hallows or Horcruxes?

Hallows. With the Deathly Hallows, you are the Master of Death, who would trade that with Horcruxes? Horcruxes will of course make you live eternally, only if no one would destroy the Horcruxes.

22 questions finally answered! Phew, that was a lot of questions, but I had fun answering it. I hope you enjoy reading this post too! To anyone who's interested, feel free to do this tag! Especially for another fellow Potterheads 🙌
